Stock Market

A Stock Market is the aggregation of buyers and sellers of stocks, Which represent ownership claims on Businesses; these may include securities listed on a public stock exchange as well as those only traded privately. Stock Exchanges list share of common equity as well as other security types, e. g. corporate bonds and convertible bonds. A stock Exchange is the place where, or an organisation through which individuals and organisations can trade stocks. Many large companies have their stock listed on a stock exchange. Stock exchange may also cover other types of securities such as fixed interest securities or derivatives, which are more likely to be traded OTC. Trading Stock Markets means the transfer for money of stock or security from a seller to a buyer. This requires these two parties to agree on a price. Equities confer an ownership interest in a particular company.
